Port Perry Parker Truss Bridge Plans Added
Built in 1904 atop 1874 piers of a previous span, this bridge embodies the beautiful utility of Pennsylvania Railroad bridge designs. Perfect for crossing a river on your layout, the Parker Truss span could be used alone, or with the Warren deck truss sections to span the widest gap. Check out the plans.
Stewartstown Pratt Truss Bridge Plans Added
The 1870 Stewartstown Pratt Truss Bridge as pictured here shows the deck girder that in the 1920s effectively replaced the truss bridge. However the now redundant Pratt Truss elements were left intact, creating an odd two-for-one project for your model railroad. The measured drawings picture the bridge in its original truss-only configuration for those looking to recreate the original. Check out the plans.
Old Frisco Depot Plans Added
You may have noticed we love depots here at FreeModelRailroadPlans.com and when it’s a depot built in the Pueblo Revival/Mission Style architecture, it’s guaranteed to be one of our favorites. The Old Frisco Depot in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is actually the third iteration of this depot, and in this case, the third time is definitely a charm! This depot is perfect for a long, narrow spot on your layout, or could be selectively compressed by removing or shortening the freight house. Check out her plans.
Front Avenue Industrial District Plans Added
With a nearly eight block continuous facade, the Front Avenue Industrial District in Columbus Georgia offers a range of buildings featuring late 19th Century commercial and industrial architecture. Constructed between 1867 and 1902, the buildings feature a similarity of scale and consistent use of material and detailing that create a sense of belonging often missing in industrial scenery created over a longer span of time. This offers a palette of buildings for the model railroader to choose from for a cohesive industrial background. Check out the massive collection of 13 plans.
